Senior RF Design and Duct tape Engineer
SiNIX are now looking for a driven and innovative Senior RF Design Engineer to join our R&D hardware team located at our headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden. For this role, we expect you to be comfortable with international collaborations and have proven experience in module and project responsibilities. You need to have a business owner mindset and be able to adapt to many different company organizations.

Responsibilities
RF Circuit Design and Analysis:
- Lead the design and development of RF circuits for high-performance communication systems.
- Utilize advanced simulation tools such as ANSYS and ADS to ensure optimal RF performance.
- Provide expertise in RF front-end design, including low noise amplifiers, mixers, and filters
RF System Architecture:
- Architect RF systems, ensuring seamless integration with overall product design.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system-level requirements and specifications.
- Drive the development of innovative solutions for challenging RF engineering problems.
Antenna Design and Optimization:
- Design and optimize antenna systems for various applications.
- Conduct antenna performance evaluations and implement improvements as needed.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards for RF emissions.
RF Testing, Validation, and Test Automation:
- Develop and implement comprehensive testing plans for RF hardware and systems.
- Use advanced measurement techniques and equipment to validate RF performance.
- Identify and troubleshoot complex RF issues to ensure product quality.
- Utilize merit in Software-Hardware Integration for seamless interaction between components.
EMC Expertise:
- Apply EMC principles to ensure the compatibility of RF systems with regulatory standards.
- Mitigate electromagnetic interference (EMI) and conduct EMC testing for product compliance.
- Implement design changes to achieve EMC objectives.
Systemization:
- Drive the systemization of RF components into cohesive and efficient systems.
- Ensure the overall functionality, reliability, and performance of RF systems.
PCB Design Tools:
- Utilize Altium, Cadence, or Mentor PCB design tools for efficient hardware development.
Enjoy Working in a Well-Equipped Lab:
- Thrive in a well-equipped lab environment, conducting experiments and measurements.
- Collaborate with the lab team to enhance testing capabilities and methodologies.
Documentation and Mentoring:
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior RF engineers.
- Maintain detailed documentation for RF designs, testing procedures, and validation results.
- Contribute to technical reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or a related field.
- Expertise in RF circuit design, simulation (ANSYS, ADS), and analysis.
- Proven experience in RF system architecture and integration.
- Strong knowledge of antenna design and optimization.
- Proficient in RF testing and validation methodologies.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
- Expertise in EMC, including EMC testing and design for EMC compliance.
- Experience with Altium, Cadence, and Mentor PCB design tools.
- Enjoy working in a well-equipped lab environment.
- Meritorious with Python or MATLAB knowledge for scripting and analysis tasks.
- Meritorious with Software-Hardware Integration.
- Excellent understanding of regulatory standards for RF emissions.
- Leadership skills and experience in mentoring junior engineers.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
