About the Role
We are looking for an experienced VIL Rig Engineer to join a high-performing team within an advanced Software Test Center focused on next-generation automotive systems.
You will play a key role in developing and maintaining vehicle-in-the-loop (VIL) test environments, driving automation, and enabling high-quality system-level verification for future vehicle platforms.
This is a hands-on engineering role combining test development, system analysis, and data-driven validation in a modern, agile setup.

What You’ll Do
Develop and maintain VIL and rig-based test environments
Design and implement test cases and test sequences (both high-level and detailed)
Build and expand automated test frameworks in Vector-based environments
Perform root cause analysis of test failures at system and signal level
Work with vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
Analyze large datasets and generate clear test reports, dashboards, and verdicts
Collaborate closely with developers, testers, and stakeholders in cross-functional teams
Take ownership of end-to-end testing activities within assigned projects
Tech Stack / Tools
You are expected to work with:
Vector CANoe / CAPL
Python scripting
Wireshark, DLT, diagnostic tools (DSA, PD)
CAN / LIN / Automotive Ethernet
JIRA / Azure DevOps (Agile / SAFe)
SystemWeaver / CarWeaver (or similar tools)
Your Profile
Strong experience in automotive testing, ideally with VIL / HIL / rig environments
Solid understanding of vehicle networks and embedded systems
Experience in test automation and scripting (Python, CAPL)
Proven ability to perform deep technical analysis and debugging
Comfortable working in Agile / SAFe environments
Ability to own and drive technical deliveries independently
Experience from system-level or complete vehicle testing is highly valued
